Thinking about going on a short roadtrip?

http://www.ajc.com/news/travel/georgia-state-parks-offer-cool-alternatives-this-s/nQXMc/        According to the website above, there are many locations to lay-low in our little state of Georgia. These fun places include: Black Rock Mountain, High Falls, Little Ocmulgee, and  Cloudland Canyon.
Black Rock Mountain is a 3,640 ft. high masterpiece in the Blue Ridge Mountains in the northeast corner of the state. This beautiful creation happens to also be Georgia's highest point. Black Rock Mountain also has an assortment of activities, such as fishing and paddling this is allowed on a stocked 17-acre lake. I believe this would be a great place to explore.
High Falls is an amazing sight of a 135 foot waterfall that tumbles over a spillway. This creates a beautiful dam. However, swimming and wading aren't allowed due to safety reasons. Therefore, canoes, kayaks, fishing and pedal boating can all be preformed in a nearby lake.
The Little Ocmulgee is a lodge and golf course located in the southern-central part of the state. At this Georgia State Park, there are activities for children as well. Therefore, Little Ocmulgee contains a splash-pad. This is a water area that has colorful spouting and misting water features and mounted water guns that children use to squirt each other. The Little Ocmulgee also has a golf course for the adults.
Cloudland Canyon is a wondrous view from the rim of a deep sandstone canyon carved, by erosion, into Lookout Mountain in northwest Georgia. There's a cave in the park where it's a steady 56 degrees year-round. You can even hire guides to help you explore.
All of these extravagant places would be great vacation sites for a short period of time, such as a weekend trip for your family. I will most certainly be reconsidering the places I want to visit.

    1. Hey buddy, I found this blog to be both interesting and informative. These places sound like places I would want to check out. I have been to High Falls and it was a very beautiful place with lots of fun things to do, such as playing in the waterpark. I enjoyed your blog, but one thing that would make it better could be personal experiences if you have been to these places. I might have to check the places out. Has anyone been to these places?
